2015 came upon us quickly as some of the plans we’ve laid out the last few years have finally come to fruition. As usual we co-hosted the 3rd Annual Paranormal Journeys Expo with www.paranormaldictionary.com, again benefiting the historic and beautiful Graeme Park in Horsham, PA!   We filmed an episode with the Ghost Detectives at Jennie Wade House & Museum in Gettysburg, PA – which can be viewed in our ‘Video‘ section.  We also worked with Black Moon Paranormal Society at Point Lookout Lighthouse in Maryland.  While our “investigation” list is small – we’ve been going with quality over quantity this past year.  We also expanded to Midnight Watchmen with a satellite team located out in the Gettysburg/York area.

2016 – So what does this new year hold for us?  I know this year we sadly will not be holding a pje#2016, as time has been at a premium and anyone who has run an event/expo knows all so well – time is needed to put on a great event with scheduling and setup.  We hope to have one in 2017, though anything is possible for 2016…  I am very pleased to announce that we will be attending and helping with the ghost hunts at the second annual Pennhurst Paracon in June and we are working on securing a location to film with the Ghost Detectives for this year.  Also we are looking for some new members to help fill out our ranks.  I think thats its for now.  Let’s see what’s next!

As I will repeat until the end of time: In closing I’d like to thank my team from our current members to the ones who are no longer with us, as all of you have had an influence on what the Midnight Watchmen have become and will be tomorrow. Their are not words for me to express my joy and happiness in doing what we do, for me it was a dream since I was child to be a “ghostbuster”, this the next best thing to that, only thing we’re missing is an Ecto-1, but if that’s all we’re missing that ain’t too bad….

State of the Watchmen 2014

MW K2 State of Watchmen 2014Every year I initially have trouble writing these years in review – I’m always afraid i’m forgetting something…. Anyhow this year the Midnight Watchmen along with www.paranormaldictionary.com held our second annual Paranormal Journeys Expo this year benefiting historic and beautiful Graeme Park in Horsham, PA.  The event was a success  with a public ghost hunt at the Keith House and many people attending not just the lectures but  stopping by to see & chat with the many vendors. New to our paranormal adventures is Marc Huffer who is working with us this year and I feel brings some new ideas/enthusiasm to the team.  We were asked to do a joint investigation with NJ ROPE on the famous Battleship New Jersey and had a blast exploring the battleship.  We’ve been quieter investigation wise then i’d like this year, but I have a feeling that will change soon.

2015 –  What’s Next? Well Paranormal Journeys will have a 3rd year with as of writing this information coming soon. Our annual Gettysburg trip is coming up in January which we plan on using for various paranormal experiments (which we will make available for download – we share!), some of which i’m not sure if they have been tried before.  We also maybe be expanding somewhat stay tuned for that announcement as well.

State of the Watchmen – 2013

Sometimes as I write these State of the Watchmen year reviews, It’s hard to pinpoint where to start. Its been a wild year, to say the least but here we go! We successfully ran Paranormal Journeys Expo in September – a years worth of work paying off big time with www.paranormaldictionary.com‘s help! (Which by the way also had a milestone in 2013, the site reached over a MILLION views!) As for us we’ve added a few new trainee’s/members Torry Good, Korey McClellan & Christa Nesbitt. We’ve Investigated a few more historic places, a few private homes and in my eyes we took a step up in the paranormal community with not just talking the talk of working with teams, but showing it! We also hosted our first Public Ghost hunt at Boehm’s Church in Blue Bell, PA – which was a blast and hopefully the beginning of many more! 😉  Paranormal Journeys brought together so many different type of groups, not just ages of people/group, but skills, ways of thinking. Everyone learned something and that leads us to:

2014 –  What’s Next? Well Paranormal Journeys will be held at historic Boehm’s Church in Blue Bell, PA on Sept 20th, 10am to 6pm. Oh and we will be having a public investigation the night before with special guests leading it. 😉 Our annual Gettysburg trip is coming up in January.  There is some talk of expansion out that way as well, but nothing final… We will be doing movie nights in and around Bucks County to help not just promote us, but help some good causes along the way.  Also we are in process of setting up some Public Ghost Hunts to help a few historic locations, so keep an eye out for news on that.

As I will repeat from last year: in closing I’d like to thank my team from our current members to the ones who are no longer with us, as all of you have had an influence on what the Midnight Watchmen have become and will be tomorrow.  Their are not words for me to express my joy and happiness in doing what we do, for me it was a dream since I was child to be a “ghostbuster”, this the next best thing to that, only thing we’re missing is an Ecto-1, but if that’s all we’re missing that ain’t too bad….

State of the Watchmen – 2012

2012 – Where do I begin? We had many highs and lows as a team. We still working on releasing our DVD’s of case files, which we hoped to have out earlier in the year, was derailed by some issues on my end.  Case wise may have been quiet but as we moved forward on some events and client help it was worth it.   We attend the para-xpo in NJ and as well welcomed old friends back into the fold, we’ve added a new members Trevor Gibson  who will work on tech & Johanna to help with research!  The Tylersport Haunted Hayride was a blast! Great event to network with the community!

So now that we all have survived 2012, I ask myself whats next?  We’ve met some amazing teams, people, been at some amazing events/places & had some interesting cases. We still are hard at work on making some public events/hunts as well as trying to just get our foot in the doors at some places.  I’m very calm and collected when I proclaim 2013 will be the best year ever for the Watchmen, I have no doubts about that at all!

We’ve also been busy laying the ground work for Paranormal Journeys Expo which is presented by Midnight Watchmen & www.paranormaldictionary.com, which will take place on September 21st & 22nd 10am to 6pm next year 2013!  Returning to Delaware Valley College was a fun experience, students and staff always keep us on our toes. We also have a few  Open Positions available, Video person (2), Photographer, Researcher (2), and a marketing person to help with logo designs/other marketed related things.

As was said last year and again in closing I’d like to thank my team from our current members to the ones who are no longer with us, as all of you have had an influence on what the Midnight Watchmen have become and will be tomorrow.  Their are not words for me to express my joy and happiness in doing what we do, for me it was a dream since I was child to be a “ghostbuster”, this the next best thing to that, only thing we’re missing is an Ecto-1, but if that’s all we’re missing that ain’t too bad….
