Do you think that paranormal shows (radio/TV/Internet) give groups a bad reputation?

No. Shows are there simply for entertainment value. I am not one of those people that believe everything that they see on TV, so watching the paranormal television shows fall into the same.

Who is the person in the paranormal field you look up to the most or want to be like?

As odd as it sounds, I like meeting new people as I feel I can learn something new from each person. So there isn’t a certain person that I ‘look up to’ or ‘want to be like’.

Stormy Gower

Who Are You?

Stormy Gower of Shotts in the Dark Paranormal.

What are your thoughts on networking with other teams or investigators?

Can be a positive experience but be careful of running into groups like Worst Paranormal or other teams that don’t do background checks.

Hunter, Investigator, Researcher – What do you want to be referred to and why?

Researcher. Because I gather evidence and data to put together what’s going on.

What is your most memorable paranormal experience?

The night before my house fire I had an apparition appear at my then boyfriends house.

Have you ever had an experience where you’ve crossed a spirit over?

No.

Did you have experiences while growing up?

Yes. My parents were super abusive and would chase each other around the house with knives. I remember a winged man hid me behind the couch while they were fighting and it got out of hand. My mom was looking for me and he wouldn’t let me out of hiding until she left and my dad got me.

What is your favorite Paranormal Show (TV/Internet/Radio?

I’ve only watched a few. I like Deep South paranormal. Most seem staged.

What are your thoughts about Provoking?

I won’t. I will ask them to show themselves if they don’t I let them go.

What are your thoughts about Orbs? Dust or spirit? How do you tell the difference?

Usually by the shape, color, and room. Sometimes I can’t and just file it under findings.

Would you ever use a Medium or Psychic on your team?

Sure. But I would research said person to see if they’re legit. I am a sensitive myself so I can usually tell who is not being honest. Being a skeptic I even doubt my own “intuition.” I think mediums are helpful but they are human and fallible.

Do you believe in Reincarnation? Who do you think you were in your past life (or lives)?

I’m not sure.

What are your thoughts on Para Unity?

Never going to happen.

Have you ever investigated a Church? What are your thoughts on this?

I haven’t personally but I would only do so with clergy and a demonologist present.

When having a joint investigation with another team(s), how do you select the team(s) or members of other teams that you invite?

I don’t select them our manager Sarah does.

What do you tell someone looking to join a team, what should they look for or ask?

Watch how a person carries herself/himself, look for professionalism, and watch their online personality.

Any advice to a group just starting out?

Don’t get involved in the drama. If someone attacks your findings, listen don’t get defensive.

Do you think it’s important to share findings with others in the paranormal community?

Sometimes yes and sometimes no.

You run across a team that you feel gives a bad name to the field. How do you handle the situation? Do you confront them about it?

No I do not confront them I just avoid collaborations with them.

Do you feel it is important to do a background investigation on the location (land/building) that you’re going to investigate?

Sometimes yes and sometimes no. If I get to come out multiple times (my preference) I like to compare findings with history.
