Undisclosed Location – Personal Experiences on 9/11/12

That night was pretty interesting to say the least. The first thing that happened was while I was watching the DVR system. One of the motion sensors we set up went off, for what appeared to be no reason. I know the DVR was recording at the time so will review it. Though knowing cameras were still being set up at the time it could have been tripped by a wire.

During the night we heard a lot of things that seemed out of place. The only one that sticks out right now was the little girl I heard at the far end of the hall. No one else heard it that was with me (Trevor Gibson, Cedric). Hopefully it was captured by a recorder and can be verified. The coolest thing that happened to me was near the end of the night. We were all heading back to start packing up when the REM field on my Mel Meter started going off. It was not active all night. What ever was setting it off was moving around the hallway. It seemed to have some intelligence to it since it did respond to Cedric’s request to set off it off the count of three. After a little bit we moved on since it had been an all night event.

I am looking forward to going back to see what else we can get.

Stemie’s Place, Easton, PA – 9/19/2011

Stemie’s was formerly the Black Horse Tavern/Inn and was built in 1783. Many reports have been told of the brutal murder of a mobster, a former wairtress and claims of other paranormal activity have been told by the owners past and present as well as patrons. Story has it that on July 22, 1928 Saverio Damiano was at the Black Horse Tavern talking on the phone when four gangsters entered with shotguns and revolvers and began firing at Saverio. Saverio aka… The Wop, stumbled down a flight of stairs leading to the basement while still being pumped with lead as the gunmen followed behind. Saverio was able to drag himself through a room and into a hallway 20 feet from the stairs where he dropped face down. One gunman fired a single round into his back and said “Well, I guess he’s had enough”. They say today that he is the resident ghost of the tavern who is seen, felt and heard by many.

Notes:

One of our resident sensitives picked up a spirit we named “Abe” who wants us to find a picture of him located somewhere on property hidden out of plain sight. We have not been able to find this picture yet, but it should be said that the basement is full from the many previous owners, a needle in the haystack to say the least.

Update: 6-16-2012

Hello everyone after talking and really digging into alot the last few weeks about digital photography and how settings can cause  false positives I came to the conclusion that the picture from our private case on 7-17-2010 seen below is NOT paranormal, though it is very interesting to look at, because looking deeper into the photo’s meta data that tells us if the flash was used, iso speed, F-stop settings, etc. Tells us that the photo is an extreme light source movement blur caused by a shaky hand and camera settings at time of picture being snapped – we have since changed our investigative guidelines to have all pictures from this point on be shot from on a tripod and have moved this picture to our 50/50 section.

We have never been ones to stop learning and now that we know what caused this we moved its designation. While we continue our journey and learn whats really out their we have no problem sharing images, video & audio for peer review.  We believe in sharing knowledge and ideas.   We hope you continue on this journey with us! We are proud to be part of the paranormal community and are pleased that we have done a few things first – as well as have the ability to continue to grow as investigators and more importantly people!  Thank you all for your help and support. We continue on for that search for the Holy Grail of paranormal research… whatever that is 🙂 The only way we will advance the field is by sharing not just what we have or think we captured but by sharing the knowledge that makes it that…. Take care everyone.

Peace,
Cedric

Fort Mifflin, Philadelphia, PA 5-25-2012

The first recorded event  at  Fort Mifflin dates back to 1778 when the wailing of women could be heard grieving over the loss of their men at the “Siege  Of Fort Mifflin”, when no women were present.  These claims stretch over decades.  The most mentioned claims are:  The Screaming Woman is most often heard in the Officer’s Quarters.  The Philadelphia Police department has even been called out on several occasions with no woman screaming being found. The Faceless Man has been reported to been seen in Casement 5.  The Lamplighter has been spotted by numerous people around the fort carrying an oil-burning lamp.   The Tour Guide is rumored to have given tours to guests dressed in period clothing when in fact no tours were scheduled.  Children & Dogs have been reports of hearing child voices and barking dogs when none are on the property.  Reports of people seeing a ghostly ship docked by the Fort.  A Sad-Looking Man has reportedly been seen walking alone down the road to the gate of the fort.  The Blacksmith Jacob Sauer (though no record exist of him being stationed at the Fort) is thought to reside in the Smithy,  sounds of iron being struck, smells/scents to doors being opened and closed.  Also reports of the scent of bread baking and the sensation of feeling heat (Fire) and the smell of wood burning in the Hearth of one of the Casements .  People have reported being touched, pulled and sometimes held back by an unseen forces.

Only downside to day investigation, is that the planes fly over at regular intervals causing audio to be worthless as they come in for a landing at the Philly Airport.
