Famous Dopplegangers

I’ve been thinking about the way life has a funny  way of teaching you things you never imagined or dreamed, but the road has many bumps and challenges. I’ve given up counting the days/pieces that fit together the synchronicity of it all, but at times even that is nothing like seeing the past come alive: case in point i’m sure you’ve seen the pictures of Nicholas Cage and an unknown “civil war era” man – who look remarkably alike, some theories are Nicholas Cage is a vampire lol I think maybe genetics is more the cause here… or maybe a Past-life experience intruding on present time. 😉 Still the amazing similarities between these two men is crazy. But of course theirs more! John Travolta also has a doppelganger from the 1860’s (coincidence in the time frames here?), while I don’t know about Cage’s beliefs – Travolta is a a member of the Church of Scientology, which believes in reincarnation… so maybe it is him. What? You need more?  How about Raphael’s masterpiece from 16th Century painting with Rambo/Rocky himself Sylvester Stallone guest starring? You got it! The world and history is full of amazing things… some explainable, some unique, all of them makes me think the world & time really sometimes does come full circle….

The Finish Line

No implied connection to this article ;)
No implied connection to this article 😉

What’s the point? The End Game? Why do we do what we do in search of truth and what is truly paranormal? How does one go from truth seeker to celebrity or making a living of this hobby of ours? For that matter why does it matter??

Sure the band wagon gets too full and some fall off – which starts the backlash…. Sometimes its warranted others, well… not so much.  So I guess i’m asking myself is it worth it all? By it I mean the search for what’s out there.  For me I haven’t crossed that celebrity bridge, I may never have to – hell it prolly wasn’t on most of the minds of these paranormal “big wigs” we know and “love” now.

I know for me it feels like i’m the only cab on the road.   We as paranormal teams and people aren’t really social beings at times – just pack animals (our teams) and fight for our “spot” in the pecking order. I see it happen over and over, most of the time I honestly see people do it on instinct. That fight that drives them takes them too far… And by no means am I saying i’m perfect – i’m far from that.

I just think that we all need to re-evaluate how we go about our interactions with other groups and people, whether its about evidence, techniques, beliefs, or just general.  We ALL have something to add to the para community – failures, success, knowledge, all have their place.

“Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure… than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.” ~ Theodore Roosevelt

What Happens When You Die?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triquetra
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triquetra

Well the old saying is nothing is final but death and taxes, but is that really all their is? This grind we all go through paying bills, working, loving (I hope for all of you anyway), and counting down the moments to the end?? For longer then I can remember I’ve thought about that, growing up hearing about Jesus and Heaven then as I grew more into my own I expand upon that idea with the question of ”what if’…. By that I mean if you take religion out of it that faith that there is something more.. what do we have left? The answer in my view isn’t much… this isn’t a knock on any religion just an observation.  As a wise pastor once said “If you believe and your wrong were is the harm in that?”  I think the same applies to paranormal investigation – its almost become its on religion. Scary thought for some of us who look into the unknown i’m sure… but its true.

Back to my point I’ll simply say that something happens when we die. I’ve witnessed love ones pass away in front of me.  Can I say for sure that that moment the soul left and went to heaven or wherever? No I can not, i’d like to think they are in a better place and not just gone… While I’ve captured E.V.P.’s on investigations, I can not say 100% they are spirits from human beings – honestly they can be, but not limited too: Human Souls, Demons, Other world entities like aliens or something from another dimension, echos in space time, unknown  RF interference, audio matrixing, etc.  Quite a list right? All possible, really in this life I’ve learned a few things…. 1) Things happen for a reason.  2) Positive thoughts actions bring positive results 3) LOVE is all you need to be happy.  Of course I’ve learned allot more as well, but then again who wants to read about the time I burnt myself on something and learned not to touch hot things lol

My point is things are what they are at times, we all move forward learning along the way.  That path we travel is our own, but others are on it as well somewhere, maybe different places, but they with you. So don’t be negative if someone doesn’t see eye to eye with you they haven’t reached that point in the road yet to understand or maybe you haven’t…. See my point?

Take a breath and soon I bet you’ll see
Without you I would never be me
You are the leaves of my family tree….”
