Paranormal Pet Peeves (Or Why The Paranormal is a Joke!) – Part 2

Again this picture has absolutely nothing to to do with article.
Again this picture has absolutely nothing to to do with article.

I wrote back in February 2013 (click here to read previous article here) about my pet peeves and said it will be awhile before I revisit them well today is the day….

First off are groups who claim non profit status without paperwork… That’s not illegal – try being honest and say not for profit. Hell its what Ghost Hunters had to do… yup they used to say non profit all the time….. kinda hard without paperwork. 😉

People/Groups who claim they want to help people and take weeks to respond to emails, social media, or any other form of contact. Come on. If you have problems answering simple questions why would anyone want you to help them with serious issues? And if you can’t find the time to answer a simple question in a timely matter you sure as hell won’t be able to handle a serious one…..

People/Groups who don’t listen to anything another has learned and immediately jumps to being attacked. Open mind its like a parachute it works better, no one says you have to agree but listen. We do it all the time for clients or should be so why not other ideas about the paranormal?

And now something I noticed that’s a positive. Over the last 2 years I’ve seen allot more groups working together, sure maybe I dropped the bad ones and that’s why I see things better, but in reality I don’t think its true. More groups are a like then they care to realize. So keep up the good work and if you or your group fall under my list above and before…. well get to fixing it.  I’m not perfect neither is my team and I put that out there. So if you need help or want to help me get better contact me below at my email. Working together is easy. Honestly the more views you have of the world will help you see it more clearly.

My Paranormal Life

Everyone starts their life and ends it the same. We are born, we live the course of our lives, then we die. But what really happens when we die? As paranormal investigators, we aim to find out the answers. Ghosts and demons are something we all can encounter. I have had many experiences with the paranormal throughout my life and all of them make me want to know more about life after death. Doing what I do for a living is hard to get the things my team, Valley Ghost Hunting, needs. As a small group, we are like family to each other. My 3 older siblings and myself have always questioned what we see, hear, feel, smell, and sense. Most are non-believers, but that’s the fun part. We are the ones who DO believe in the afterlife. Chris Davis, Tricia Cragle, Mike Toth, and myself started Valley Ghost Hunting in 2011. It is our passion though only my sister and I live in PA now and our brothers live in different states. Chris Davis now belongs to Proximity Paranormal with my future sister-in-law Jenny Gurney and I now run the team with my boyfriend Jarrod Slater. Our team consists of Brian Gadecki, Marc Casamassina, Tricia Cragle, Mike Laton, and Patrick Walsh. Its funny to see that 4 of us siblings started this and the three of us who have someone to add to our twisted family can actually be happy to have our significant others join in our passion for the paranormal. What some people don’t see when entering into the field of the paranormal is that it doesn’t come with sponsors and people to pay for the equipment needed. Its something that is more treated like a hobby. It comes out of your own pocket and takes time. But like all hobbies, it is time consuming and you gain experience to become a better investigator. I can say though, you can’t find a more lovable field, even with all the para-drama, than the paranormal field. I have made some great friends and even some I can say I would love to call family if they would let me. My first convention was in Moravia, New York. I had an amazing experience there and everyone was so kind. No matter the experience I had prior to going, everyone accepted me. Since then, I haven’t been very active with investigations because I have to take care of myself before I can think about continuing to investigate. But I can say this. No matter what I have to deal with at home, or how much work I have, I will always look forward to my next hunt or convention.

Hitler Attacks South America…errr I mean Lives Out Final days In?

hitler_with_child
Hitler talking to a little girl, unknown year.

So as the peruse through my news feed today and an article pops up (read it here) about Hitler in South America, which is nothing new really for conspiracy/history buffs. To me anything is possible, the chaos as Berlin fell is well documented and very little evidence exists to prove what really happened to Hitler & Eva Braun on those final days, yes I know their are claims that Hitler was seen slumped over a desk but the body wasn’t check to see if it was him or even if he was alive.  The evidence presented would undoubtedly be circumstantial in my mind.  Anyway we already know a good number of Nazis did go to South America to live out there final days, so why not the biggest one of them all? In the article it points out the had a black wife to throw off the trail of him being the Fuhrer and some would say he’d never do that: my response to that is that its depends on this question: is his hatred for them more then his desire to live? A valid question that I think people should ponder…. So was he really alive to his 95th birthday? Hell if I know, bottom line is he’s more then likely rotting in some demons orifice about now…. Then again maybe Elvis, JFK, Tupac, Biggie, and him are all sharing a condo in Atlantis that they rent from a Yeti…..

Paranormal Investigator Certification?

PARANORMAL_INVESTIGATOR DegreeSo I see groups across the globe claim – yes I said claim, to be certified at investigating the paranormal…. Quick search on Google found the image here on the page… Honestly its a crock to claim this. Why? There is no accredited school for what we do. Sure people have been “taught” how to investigate, but that’s far from certification. We all have ways that work for us but not necessarily for others and that is okay. We all should be striving to learn our craft! Take some classes in general investing techniques (like forensics or police), or research what and how others do it. Finally adapt! Your group will not only be respected but will help people far better…. Maybe i’m just a crazy investigator chasing the unknown, but why don’t some of you instead of starting out with a lie while your trying to investigate the truth of what’s out there – step up and admit we all are learning their is no finality of how we do things……
