Notes:

The air was cold, besides the wild life very un active and quiet. We asked for signs of a spirit and received nothing. Taking notice of the fact that sound carries very far in this area, one can easily hear voices from nearby properties if they are raised. Shadows caused by trees moving with the wind in the moonlight may cause people to think they see shadows "darting back and forth" at the other end of the bridge.
